Vikki has kindly shared the gorgeous nursery she has created for her little one, Isabelle. The future of the next generation was at the forefront of her design, bringing together carefully considered items boasting Scandinavian style and consciousness.
We share many of Vikki’s values: as nature is at the heart of Boori’s inspiration, we couldn’t wait to see the nursery design come to life. Using sustainable solid wood chosen from FSC-certified plantations, we reduce our impact on the world’s forests. We strive to use as much of the wood as possible with cutting-edge laser measuring technology producing very little waste. With our low chemical emitting paint finishes and as winners of the ‘Best Ethical Brand’ in 2019, we’re committed to showing just how passionately we care about our planet and our customers’ homes.
Neutral Nursery Colourscheme
Although inspired by the minimal serenity of Scandinavian design, the room remains warm and welcoming with colour being introduced through books and toys alongside the natural colour palette of white, grey and beige.

Isabelle sleeps in our Alice Cot Bed; its subtle white design singing in harmony with the other details in the room. Made from sustainable solid Australian Araucaria wood, the Alice Cot Bed converts into a toddler bed suitable up to 5 years making it a truly long-lasting addition to the nursery.

The space is also full of practical yet stylish storage options, from beautifully simple wooden shelving to natural jute and wicker baskets providing a home for stray toys at the end of the day.
Adding Character to a Neutral Nursery
A neutral nursery needn’t be boring, Vikki has opted for charming animal figures displayed on the wall to add playfulness to her design. Isabelle’s nursery is the perfect mixture of fun and relaxing, balancing intriguing textures and natural elements with soft and comfy furniture.
